If you are interested in Ad film making career I would say that it is highly competitive but, is the one that has a lot of scope for employment opportunities, especially in India which is an upcoming market for media and film related courses. Yes you can apply for top B schools, but in order to qualify you have to give CAT, MAT or any such relevant entrance exam depending on the institution what sort of entrance they prefer or they conduct their own test.

A minimum of 50% in graduation .
Admissions to MBA and MBA (IB) programmes are made on the basis of combined merit of Written Test (CAT conducted by IIM)-50% weightage; Academic records-20% weightage, Group discussion and Interview (conducted by FMS, BHU)- 30% weightage.
