Yes, you need to give IELTS besides GMAT, as most of the universities demand for IELTS band. This test is required to know your English skills in reading, writing and understanding so as to make sure weather you will be able to cope up with the studies in their university. Almost all the Australian and US universities demand the same.

There are total 150 seats in the college. 60 for systems and finance, 60 for marketing and finance and 30 for analytics and finance which is a newly introduced specialisation.
There is not fixed formula for the number of students attending GE-PI-WAT. I do not have the official figure but let's say that the ratio is 3 to 3.5 students for 1 seat. A fee student book the slot but don't show up due to some other commitments.
Try and book a working day slot. The weekend slots are booked by the people with work experience and tend to have stronger competition.

It is slightly different. In a group discussion, there will be a discussion and you have to come to conclusion but in a group exercise you have to be in a team to accomplish a given task. In group discussion, the team working ability is being tested.
