I don't find any full form of the KAS abbreviation in the science or other academic field. However KAS is used in Astrology as "Krushna Ashtakvarg System". In astrology KAS is a very good method for forecasting the timing of important events in life.

It depends upon the branch of engineering and also one's choice and individual working style. For example there are fewer opportunities in the Govt sector for Chemical, Minningl & metallurgical engineering as comapred to Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering. These days the salaries are good in the Govt sector as well but if one would want challenging assignments frequently then Private sector would be better.
