Firstly, you need to understand if you want to pursue forensic Science field, then you should for Master's degree and then think of placement.
None of the universities in India can offer you best placement only after B.Sc. If they offer you the same, then salary will be very nominal.

If you don't want to enter into teaching job, you can enter into research field. And, for that, you need to invest approximately 7-8 years in studies.
If you don't want to invest much and not interested in research, you may consider Psychology as a option.
Do research on given topic and choose the way accordingly.

These days, to avoid any confusion & to have unbiased process, almost all states have started taking entrance exam for admission to any course. Direct 2nd year after diploma is no exception. Hence, if you have missed giving exam it's next to impossible to get admission.

Galgotias has 2 institutions, one is affiliated to UPTU and another in affiliated to Galgotias University and both have good placements, but I would suggest that you go to Galgotias Institute of Technology because it has a better reputation and quality.
