This is what I observed for a group of people, no one specifically.
A few common things I see among diploma students is:
They are more dedicated and punctual when it comes to completing assignments or documenting practicals.Their average scores in internals and tests are very high.
However, without too much sugar-coating:
Their mathematical skills border on horrible. This can be amplified in relevant engineering courses, like complexity analysis of algorithms.In general, the communication skill of a diploma student is less developed than someone who has studied languages for 2 more years(11th and 12th).They believe that the above two points are irrelevant, and that the industry is craving for talent. What they actually mean is I have no idea, and I would like to believe that I am right.
