Hi Bhavik,No there is no such entrance exam for the course. Candidate must have passed 10+2 with the following subjects:
1. Mathematics 2. Physics 3. Chemistry 4. Any other
On the basis of merit followed by interview.

IIT-Dhanbad (ISM) -Environmental Engineering/Mining Engineering/Mineral Engineering- AIR 9500
IIT-BHU-Mining-AIR 9251
IIT BHU-Pharmaceutical Technology-AIR 10000 (Note: This stream is least preferred by all aspirants and has a very low placement rate and technical scope. As a result more than 40% seats of this stream went empty this year).
If you are an architecture candidate BHU, KGP and Roorkee cut-offs are as low as AIR 15000.

You can get admission, but only if you have done any Diploma of three years. Only then, you can get admission directly in second year.

The eligibility criteria for B.Sc Forestry is 10+2 in PCB/ PCM with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and it will be in first-come-first-serve basis.

If you are SC/ST/NT/OBC, you are luckier, you can get admission with 52% marks.
The case for Bachelors in Arts is opposite. It never went down below 75%, at least not in 2012.
This maybe primarily because, prospective engineers apply for a B.Sc course, in case they don't get a good college.
