172 marks is very less for admission into medical colleges of India. For government medical colleges, you need around 500 and for private colleges you need around 400.

Hi Abhishek,
B.C.S (Bachelor of computer Science) is a professional course in which students study about programming like C,C++, JAVA and many other.
B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) in Computer Science is a simple graduation course in computer language.
There is not much difference between the two in terms of course curriculum and career prospects. Software companies treat both the courses in similar way.

The one year is at par with the 2 year course in terms of value and is very much recognized by UGC.
