Hello,
Yes, there is no harm in applying. You can expect to get a GD-PI call from Welingkar Bangalore campus at that CMAT score. Good luck with the interview preparations.

True if you have strong interest in management. You can opt for BBA or BBA simple and Honors courses. So far Honors courses are concerned, you may have option to opt for specializations which is not possible in simple courses and will lead to strengthening your interest area and good leads for MBA.

You have a decent chance of receiving the call. My suggestion would be to apply asap (before the Institute stops accepting applications). All the best!

There is no preference as such for either exam. XAT is considered to be much tougher than CMAT by many so you can go by that but as for selection, its only your performance in the GD-PI and the application that you sent will matter.

Hi,
Your cat percentile is low for pgdm(core) but as you say that gd/pi went off well . They can consider you for the course because overall selection depends on your cat score , gd/pi , work ex. and previous scores. So your chances of selection are high.
Thank you

You can try for both NIT-Trichy and NIT, Surathkal. NIT, Trichy is difficult to get with this percentile, but chances are there. In NITK, you will surely be called for GD/PI, but the selection will be based on your performance.

No it won't create a problem . AICTE approval or UGC recognition in needed only for those people who want to pursue P.HD. or who want to join Government sector. If you want to pursue your career in a big corporate all you require is a good placement with high package . PGPM is a course which does not require UGC recognition or AICTE approval. Hence, many autonomous universities don't have UGC OR AICTE approval or recognition .
