You must remember a lot of equations, formulae , and their uses, advantages and disadvantages. There will be a lot of theory part. you must know them from time to time. I personally know many students who started with chemical engineering or bio technology ended up in either software or in management field. Jobs available only for chemical engineers are quite low as compared to other departments. You must choose wisely before you proceed. it might cost you four years of life.

Hi Rishabh,
I have to be a bit frank with you. The cut-offs at XIMR are around 95 percentile. So there is not a high chance you will be able to get through. You can try for the management seat though. The fees is the same as the usual seats.
