If you mean full time MBA or PGDM program then please remember in order to pursue this program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks.
So with 40% marks in BBA you are not eligible to get admission in this program.
I would request arun dev to share his expert opinion on this.
However if you wish to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program only then in that case I would suggest you to apply for improvement exam and prepare well so that you may score atleast 50% marks in graduation.
The other option for you would be to pursue MBA through distance education as in order to pursue this program you simply need to be graduate
