Well, I am a little confused with your question. I cant fgiure out, whether you want to know top colleges to pursue Chemical engineering in T. Nadu or you want to know about the scope of chemical engineering in T. Nadu after pursuing graduation.

Chemical Engineering graduates can gain good job opportunities in manufacturing and service industries such as food, materials, specialty chemicals, plastics, power production, biotechnology, Tyre manufacturing, nanotechnology, mining process, mineral based industries, petrochemical, plants, pharmaceuticals, synthetic fibers, chemical engineering designs, nuclear energy, materials science, development of new sources of energy and even medicine. Some opt to work in laboratories and universities as a professor.
Those interested in government jobs have to clear Engineering Service Examinations conducted by the UPSC. The engineering graduates are employed in defense establishment, healthcare related research projects, atomic power plants, environment regulation, recycling department and power conservation projects.

I Hope you have shortlisted your college as of know.
If you are seeking for admissions in Apeejay School Of Management, Firstly i would like to tell you that placements are still in progress because of exams break, Although majority of students have already been placed.The highest package for batch 2012-2014 is 6 lacs in marketing field also international package was 12 lacs two years back.
