No, there is no provision for lateral entry in AMU. You have to go for the entire admission procedure which will give you admission in B.A 1st year once you qualify the entrance test. The entrance test for this year in concluded now. You can try next year then. Best of Luck!

You should go for your interest because it is you who is going to do engineering. But placements of petroleum are quite good in comparison to CSE.
But it is a waste if you are not enjoying what you are doing.

Yes, you can pursue M.Sc Physics after completing B.Tech. I have known a few cases like that. In fact, a person who has scored very well and can clear the NET JEST or exams alike can even directly pursue Ph.D. To pursue M.Sc-Physics, you need only a graduation degree in relevant subject.

Hi,
For UPSC, you must pass Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Candidates who are awaiting their the final year results or are yet to take such final exam can also apply and take the prelims, but they should produce proof of passing while applying for the UPSC Mains exam.

As we go for CGC, there are two choices for us i.e. CEC (Chandigarh Engineering College ) and COE (College of Engineering). There is only the difference of faculty members and the blocks. Otherwise, all the systems of examination are same in both.
