Hello,
You have obtained a reasonably good rank. I feel with this rank you should get a govt college. These days it's only in Govt. colleges that fees are less or reasonable.

Institute - This is not a government sponsored Institute, as displayed in brochure. It is just to fool you out. Only the faculty members are Central Government Employees. The Institute is running on BE, PGDC, PDC, and T&D courses fees. Faculty - Experienced faculty is there, but they have knowledge only of 210 MW (sub critical ). Guest Faculty is awesome (MAHAGENCO Employees from Koradi, Khaperkheda TPP). Hostel - This is only the best thing in NPTI. No warden, no rules. Students can do anything the like: Cleanliness. Mess's food is an issue everywhere. No sports club. There is one sports ground. No Wi-Fi.

It doesn't really matter if its not about placements. In case of faculty, all above colleges mentioned are just the same. However, studying at TCET gives students enough room to grow. Teachers are cooperative and are always more than glad about students success. Above all, it depends on the student and not on the college, unless its IITs or IISc.
