Hi,
Your CGPA is good but you would need to satisfy the minimum IELTS requirement i.e. 6.5 with a minimum score of 6 in each section. If you do not fulfill the minimum IELTS requirement, you may still get an admission offer in a university but would definitely not get the visa.
Incase you have any other query, please post them here, else mark this answer as best answer to close this thread.

canada would be better. it offers wide range of enngineering and pg courses. Also their course has more value. The course fee and accomodation charges is also less then germany or any other foreign country. you would find many indian origin families and a very friendly atmosphere there. so all the best.

If you plan to pursue M.tech through regular, it is important to qualify GATE but then this would also depend on the institute's requirement. As for the expected scores are concerned, this will vary from one year to another asll one can advise is to prepare well and try to score as high as possible so to increase your chances to get admission to a reputed institute.

The former includes air ticketing with computer reservation system and on-the-job training, with a duration of six weeks and a course fee of Rs. 5,000.
The latter comprises of practical exercises in writing, publication of souvenir and guest lectures by reputed travel and culture writers and is of three-week duration with a fee of Rs. 2,000.

Diploma wil make you eligible but certainly degree course would help you better in the longer run. However, here the insitute would be of importance and hence you must select that appropriately. You should think of appearing in the exam for NID Ahmedabad.

The eligibility to appear in CAT is a Graduation Degree from a recognized University with 50% aggregate marks. So if you meet the above mentioned criteria you are very much eligible to sit for CAT.
