Well, as such there are no pet books for NET. A basic knowledge of all subjects relating to the core subject is required. Moreover GK, Reasoning, Aptitude skills should be good. But I'd like to through some light on books which are available in the market:
Like Truemans UGC Net/Slet for Lectureship Exam Paper, Cosmos Bookhive, Upkars etc are some of the famous names among the books for UGCNET.
I'd suggest you to use these books for practice purpose only. Do Not rely on these books completely. Read basic books also. Please reply with what you're going to appear for? I mean which subject?
