Computer Science normally stared in the maths department in most of the schools. A few come out of electrical engineering, and I saw one with a firm leg in the physics department, but you can look at the grounding in maths and computation to solve problems. Their interests will be along the lines of theory, algorithms and implementation of core concepts. The study of how to make an OS or network. degrees in IT have generally come out of the business school, but not entirely. The focus has been on how to use these tools to solve business problems. How do you set up an OS or network? How do you apply the technologies to support a corporate process such as accounting, marketing or production? These degree courses tend to focus on the integration, operation and maintenance of the technology. While many programmes will dive into the concepts of Computer Science, they aren't going to get into the nitty-gritty details of how to create these components. Just like a CS major will cover logic devices, but they take them as a given rather how to build them.

Well, both branches are good.
Depends on what you want to do. Engineers apply principles from science to create practical solutions to real-world problems. Chemical engineers use chemistry to develop fuel, food, drugs and new substances. Petroleum engineers cover chemistry and geology to extract oil and gas from under the earth's surface. Though both professions need a Bachelor's degree, they study different subjects.
Chemical Engineers:
Chemical engineers can work in any industry that uses material substances because they solve problems about the production or use of chemicals and other materials. They can create new drugs to relieve colds, find better ways to preserve canned goods or create airplane coatings that resist weather damage. They troubleshoot problems with manufacturing, develop new methods of production, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and development safety procedures for those working with hazardous chemicals. The profession requires a minimum Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, which is more commonly called chemical and biomolecular engineering. A professional engineer's license may enhance job prospects.
Petroleum Engineers:
Petroleum engineers find more efficient and profitable ways to extract oil and gas. They design extraction equipment, plan how to drill in oil and gas fields and then recover the oil and gas, test and survey wells, and ensure that oil field equipment is installed, operated and maintained. They often work with geologists and other earth Science specialists to understand how geologic formation affects rocks that contain oil reserves. A Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering is sufficient for entry-level jobs. However, a Master's degree allows work as an instructor in some universities, or in research and development. Practical experience, such as from an internship or summer jobs is also desirable for graduates.

What is AMIE?
Full form of AMIE is "Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers". AMIE is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). The qualification can be earned by passing Section A, Project Work and Section B examination of the Institution. If an applicant passes both sections of the examination, he or she becomes an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AM). AMIE is equivalent to B.Tech.
Sections A & B of AMIE Examinations are conducted in over 65 examination centres in the country and also in five overseas chapters (Kathmandu, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha and Kuwait).

The institution of Engineers (India) frequently called IEI or AMIE-Kolkata, is the premier and largest professional body of engineers in the country. The IEI has over seven lakh members on its roll and fifteen engineering disciplines co-exist under IEI. Eligibility For AMIE?
Who Can:
Polytechnic Diploma, Diploma from IETE, IME, ICE, IGNOU, CIPET and NTTF etc.
Diploma after ITI (lateral entry). Candidates who have passed 2-year ITI/Vocational Courses in specified trade, after class X and have got lateral entry directly in Second year of 3-year Engineering Diploma Courses being conducted by respective State Board of Technical Education will be considered for Senior Technician Membership of the Institution.
10+2 in physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English is also recognised by IEI for doing AMIE. Minimum aggregate must be 45%, aggregate in PCM.
Who Can't:
Diploma from RVD, IASE and KSOU.

1. Requirements to become a pilot: The minimum requirements to become pilot in our country are that you need to have your 12th standard completed and you should have scored 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and maths in your 12th boards.
Student Pilots: To be eligible for a student pilot certificate, you must be at least 16 years old and able to read, speak, write and understand English, as required by Civil Aviation Regulation.
Private Pilots: Private pilot applicants must be at least 17 years old and be able to read, speak, write and understand English, per CAR. In addition, you must complete the necessary ground and flight training requirements as required by the federal aviation regulations.
Commercial Pilots and Flight Instructors: Commercial pilot and flight instructor applicants must be at least 18 years old, and as previous certificates require, must also be able to read, speak, write and understand English.
Complete your college degree: While college degrees were not compulsory in the past they are considered valuable with the advancement of time. The degree should preferably be in the field of sciences if not the aviation background. Majors in non-science backgrounds can also become pilots provided they have a good grasp of maths, calculations, and reasoning. A college degree helps to demonstrate the airline the commitment and your capability to complete the programme.
