SMU distance programme in MCA is very much easier than any other universities in the country.
Eligibility cretria is that 3 year graduation and six month Computer course from a reputed institution.It has also good scope too.

You can continue BCom. It is good course. You can plan MBA after completing BCom. If you are very much interested in Science then and only then change to three years proper university BSc Science course. All three years bachelor courses are honour courses. Less than three years bachelor courses are not preffered by job market.

However, even if you have done the Diploma from MIDDS, the university requires you to complete all the 3 years to procure your Degree. You cannot thus directly appear for the second year. In order to be eligible to apply for the MBA program at this university, you would need to fulfill the following admissions requirements:
1) Have atleast 2 years of Full Time work experience
2) Have atleast 75% and above in your undergraduation degree
3) Take the GMAT and score atleast 620+
4) Take the TOEFL/IELTS
