The eligibility for the course is
Candidate should be a Graduate / Hons. Graduate / Post graduate from UGC recognized University With 45% Marks either in under Graduate and or / post graduate level (40% for SC ST)
So if you are SC/ST then i would suggest you to take admission on you Masters Degree percentage basis .

1. Eligibility-
An Indian National Citizen
A graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and
In the age limit of 21-30 years
2. This Exam has two stages Preliminary & Final. Prelim Exams are held in the month of May /June whereas final Exams are held in October/November of every year.
3. Two papers in prelims- Reasoning Aptitude and English Comprehension. Main exam is entirely subjective.
4. Select optional subjects considering your own comfort in understanding the subject and the process should be done carefully since it is the very deciding factor for your selection in this prestigious exam.
5. Preparing for RAS requires combination of smartness and hard work. Do the right things to gain an edge over your competition:
*Get the right books for Prelims
*Start preparing at least 10 months before
*Solve past year questions to test yourself on regular basis
*Cover the scoring sections early
*Cover the syllabus strategically. Don't go for a "prepare all" approach for RAS prelims
