Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is a common admission test for selecting candidates for various branches of Indian Air Force.
Different books for the preparation of the candidate for the AFCAT test are available in book stores across India. AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) by RPH Editorial Board is one of the books one can refer to. Other than that books for other entrance exams like Bank PO, CAT etc.

Exam Pattern: The AFCAT will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning general awareness and military aptitude.
EKT would be for 45 minutes and conducted immediately after AFCAT.
You should develop a good knowledge in each area specified in the syllabus. You should improve general awareness by reading newspapers and watching TV news. Develop proper time management skill for answering maximum number of questions within the time frame. You have to practice well for answering the questions. Previous question papers and other study materials are also available in the internet, make use of the same.

Shruti, I am not sure how good you are with maths. Only then go for BTech CS. If you are, then you must later pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. There is also an intermediate path in games design and development. Wish you the best for your career. Computer animators might create a possible storyboard, or they may help create different characters or settings.So to make career in animation you should pursue a degree or diploma in animation,go fo a diploma as throug it you will be able to learn more in less time or the preferred time , as degree will take 3 long years.

Java/J2EE - The server side software development of web is mostly done by this most secure language option. Most of the banks in India and abroad implement their web applications using Java/J2EE only.
.NET - This is among most popular languages which are direct counterparts of Java. These are mainly used for light weight application development on the server side and client side. .NET is also easy to master compared to the long Java Library.
The other options for the courses include, i am listing most prominent ones from job point of view:
