You won't be able to get admission in a good university on the basis of MAT percentile because every college has different eligibility criteria for admission to this programme. But still, you can apply for good institutes such as:
* Lovely Professional University Punjab,
* Banaras Hindu University,
* Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar
* Institute of Management, Nirma University etc.
Some of the universities also conduct their own test for admission. So, you should first of all, look for the universities where you'll find quality education as well as placements. Also, I have heard about LPU giving maximum scholarships to students who have got good percentage in qualifying exam/ on the basis of National Level Test.

Yes, it's a good option, but these days there are few issues been noticed with graduation courses offered by various Indian institutes with University and UGC approval, where we have seen many institute or student facing issues with the approval, exams etc. by the university and the coordination between the university and the institute. Hence, a better option would be completing an online or distance (valid) graduation course (BA /B.Sc/ B.Com) and simultaneously join a 3D animation and VFX course of 3 Years duration. Many institutes named such courses as professional course, which was basically designed for graduation purpose but they decided to continue the course under their own brand name without UGC approval to avoid coordination related issues. NSB has a tie-up with ESC-Pau, France which allows the students to experience foreign study methodology for a duration of 2.5-3.0 months.
