To choose the branch, first preference should be given to your personal interest about the field and the subject like in which you've more interest. If you are interested in computers, then obviously, you should go for computer engineering. If you have interest on machines then mechanical engineering is the best bet for you.

There are few things which need to be consider before joining a course from any institute:
1. Are you getting a PGD or MBA Degree? Although, they are considered equivalent but technically both are different and MBA have more value than any PGD.
2. Is your university recognized? UGC, DEB and AIU are basic recognition required.
3. What flexibility you are getting? App based learning, live interactive lectures and career advisory are basic facilities.

Hi Bihu, Sorry for replying late, and yes you are eligible to sit during the counselling and eligible for apply. Alliance ask for 60% in MAT but if you don't have above 60% then Alliance conducts Alliance mat(amat) on the PI date, In AMAT there will be a written exam followed by extempore and then PI. In Extempore they will give you a topic with preparation time 3 minutes and after then you have to give a speech for 5-7 minutes in-front of students and the interview panel. taking Ms or MBA is based on your interest . you can get seat in both. But as far as I know you can't get seat in US as it needs minimum 3 to 4 years work experience nor you can get in top 20 to 30 reputated colleges .
