So, you may pursue CS for a good career, but please note that you won't get any exemption. You may get exemption in few paper of CS. Today, many companies prefer a person with CA and CS combination as this gives them benefit to not appoint a CS which as mandatory for a company with certain turnover as per Companies Act.
