Akarsh, automobile design is a technical area if you're entering from an engineering perspective. However, from a design perspective you can enter automobile/ product design as well. To do that, you must be good in sketching - so join a good life art course like MethodArt. Also, you may pickup 3D software knowledge so that you can model the same in 3D as well with the right lighting and textures.
studying abroad in design is also great but you would need to understand their structure and how it works. if you're still searching you can look at studying for a job oriented diploma at a leading school in canada. If you want advice on that I can guide you and put you across to the best schools. Some of the students I have guided are studying at Sheridan, VFS, Emily Carr, Bournemoth and others. However, these schools look for a good portfolio in drawing/ animation the most, and some areas can make do with a digital portfolio if good. You would need someone to take you through this since if the portfolio is rejected you would spend another year remaking it. Devashish, both are fine. If you are very good with maths go for engineering and if you're better off with words then look at Media related careers. There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated. You can be a story writer who writes for live and animated screens or even roll the story into a video/ pc game. you can be a script writer who would stop at nothing to give wonderful scene setups to bring the story to life. you could be an artist who designs characters or who storyboards the film for live or animated performance. you can also double up as a voice over artist who gives his/ her voice to the characters or dub for movie stars, or even be a radio star. you can alternatively look at web for a web of careers in web design, online marketing, search engine optimization, content writing, social media promoting. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. Big data is one of the most demanded and chased after job markets today.
