Definitely not. Frankly, taking drop for JEE Mains is never a wise decision but is one for advance. Also, you won't be able to perform that well 2nd time which is though often seen. Go for good private universities and work hard their. That would actually worth your one year. Manipal, VIT, Amity, Amrita, KIIT and LPU are recommendations.

If you have an inclination for technology, you can definitely pursue engineering courses. Maths ability is a must for success in engineering. If you do not like engineering, you can opt for commerce stream, which offers much wider job options such as CA, CS, CFA, etc. There are other options such as BBA, B.Sc. in hotel management, law, etc. which offer substantially higher job opportunities. However, it all depends on your taste, preference and target. Best of luck.

No, you cannot get any NIT or IIIT. You should either take a drop or choose a government or private engineering. College. You can probably get admission in NIRMA University, Ahmedabad, which is among top 30 colleges in India including all NITs and IITs. For getting admission in it, you need to fill up an online form. Then you will be shortlisted according to your JEE score and 12th score. There are maximum chances for you to get it. Best of luck.
Thank you.

Your rank is too high to get a seat in a college. Your chances of getting the college are very little. I suggest you to try in private colleges or drop a year for the preparation of JEE Mains further.

To be honest you have very low conversion chances at a merit number of 546 on IES MCRC portal. I would advise you to prepare for a year and target high and complete you MBA from other college of higher rank.
