Yes. CA is very tough.
You will have to dedicate your time fully with the sole aim. Please remember that CA is not a college going course, u have to work with a chartered accountant in a professional environment and study on your own in the balance time. This requires tremendous will power and clear cut vision about future. But nowadays, it is not that much difficult if you determined.

You have to make sure that your marks should be greater than the cut-off. If your score in one of the subject papers is not good, don't worry. Make sure that you qualify with the help of other two. According to the marks you have mentioned, you have chances of getting a good college. Also, if in case you don't get the seat with Advanced score then you can get a seat with the help of marks scored in JEE Main. Also, you can apply for DU, DAIICT and some other government colleges. Also, many private colleges also give direct admission since you have qualified JEE Main, but your marks should be good or your class 12th percentage must be hi

Before thinking about the scope, just go and ask about the college unemployed people passed from. They will never be from IIT, NIT or some reputed college. If they are from IIT NIT, then they must have ignored engineering and have not taken it seriously (just a bit). There is no deserving engineering student who is jobless. Many are leaving jobs just to start their own business. All are involved in some work, either it is related to their branch or not, does't matter. After engineering everyone is capable of doing something, something they like. This is the reason there are many startups by IITians because they don't fear failure. They

There is no harm in taking a drop for a year for preparation. But remember one thing do only if you have dedication and belief. If you can work hard for a year and maintain distance from all the distractions. I have seen students studying for 2 year for preparation, but they even don't clear the cut off. Also I have seen students taking a year drop and working so hard that within a year of studies they crack the exam with good marks. It depends on you, if you can focus on studies only, then take a drop, become a NITian. Good Luck. Hope it helps.
