The eligibility criteria required for applying to BBA course in India are:
The candidates applying for BBA programme should be Class XII passed or have an equivalent high school degree. Minimum age of applicants should be 17 years while maximum age limit is 22 years. No branch is best or worse. It depends upon one's personal interests. Choose your career by yourself. Personally, I would suggest mechanical, ECE, CSE or Civ for faster growth.

That depends upon the college in which you are admitting whether it accepts Mains marks or not. Though, the competition is high hence mere qualifying will not land you a good college and good branch. Moreover, there a lot of possibilities with good private universities. Moreover, if you can then mention your preferences to give a precise answer.

You can get NIT but of a very lower rank. The more you compromise with the college rank, the better your stream will be and vice-versa. Some recommendations are NIT-Silchar, Manipur, Pondicherry, etc.
