If you want placements, better not to go with SV, SK, Andhra universities
As of now, none of the universities is providing placements. Universities in Andhra Pradesh have become hubs of government job preparing students. If you want free time to prepare for government jobs, then go with these universities. Or else, go the top private colleges which provide best placements.

CGC Landran has the top ranking of private colleges, which has maximum placements. There are nearly about 500 companies visiting every and almost every student got placed. The faculty of CGC is so good that they try to place every student in a big Multinational company. Teachers, infrastructure is also good. CGC Landran is in top 7th Ranking on maximum number of patents filed in a single year. Now, talking about GNE Ludhiana or GNDU Amritsar, the teaching is also good in two colleges. But, in placements CGC Landran has bit more best than GNDEC Ludhiana or GNDU Amritsar.

If you wish to pursue B.Tech then you'll have to write JEE Mains and if you wish to get M.Tech from NIT, you'll have to write GATE. Other than that, there is a scheme called DASA for NRI students admission into NITs.
