You have to appear for GRE and TOEFL to get into any foreign university not only stanford. You should spend your entire four years working in different projects related to your field. Collect as much as potential certificates. Three references of your professors. A good character in all.

It totally depends on choice and future career plans. Both courses are good. Actually B.A. Is general course in which you can choose subjects as per your choice but in B.A. Honours Political Science you have political Science subject in final year and it is more specialised if you wish to pursue further in that field. It is recommended for IAS aspirants to pursue B.A. Political sciences. Good Luck!

Chandigarh University has good placement record with the highest package received - 24 LPA. Average salary package is 3- 4 LPA for 2016 for BE CSE course.
But all these depend on your skills only. So if you are talented you can bag even more good packages.
