I would advise you to opt for the MBA program through the regular mode as the same offers better quality of education and also the career prospects are brighter when compared to the distance programs. MBA is the best possible course that one can opt if interested to pursue a career in Management field. There are many well known institutes offering MBA in IT and it is suggested to opt for the regular program rather than the distance mode. PGDM stands for post graduate diploma in management. The institutes generally provides a part time course or mostly Online course in management for guys who are currently employed and cannot spare full time for MBA and call it a PGDM course. As per your info , u r BTech and willing to do MBA in HR. This is a very specific question and there is no data available anywhere which will give you this information, so I would suggest you to choose the companies related to your field of specilaisation and contact them directly(may be their PROs) to find out if they would allow a student's visit on their premises. Such visits are generally by appointment only & would be better if taken by the Institutes head or principle from where you are doing your MBA.
