This course or certification is recognised by Government of India, Ministry of Education & Social Welfare (Department of Education), UPSC & MHRD for the purpose of recruitement to Superior Services/Posts under Central Government and also given recognition by Sarder Patel University as equivalent to the respective B.E. degree & you can also do higher studies in related field in Sardar Patel University after this course.
However, Not all the Organisations or Institutes will accept this course as equivalent to a degree.

Technically, Computer applications is more involved with the IT programming, Software, Hardware, Networking etc; where as MBA is completely study of Management and Business Administration. If you are inclined towards pursuing a career in Management relevant to IT then you can opt for MBA with a specialization in Information technology and to know about the institutes offering the same, you may refer to the following link:

But if you are more interested to pursue a career in Application programming and IT, then you can look for MCA as a course to pursue at Masters level depending o the eligibility required by the various institutes (which may differ). The choice of a field largely depends on your own interests & career options. However, after doing B.Sc in nursing you may try to go for a Master's degree or a post Diploma course in areas such as-Medical Surgical Nursing, in Operation Theatre nursing, Cardio-Thoracic/Vascular, Neuromedical and Neurosurgical, Cancer (Oncology), Nephrology & Urology, Paediatric, Psychiatric, Geriatric, Obstetrical and Gynaecological, Rehabilitation Techniques, etc. You can also opt for M.Phil or PhD if you want to make your career in teaching. You can also opt for MBA in health care or Hospital administration if you have a Management bent of mind.
