Finance and HR is completely odd combo for MBA. But at the same time in case of entrepreneur it will be easier for u for managing employees as well as fund allocation. Employee contribution for the company is more important for both operations and marketing. HR only knows the capacity of employees. In certain cases HR and finance may not be an odd combo. Both MBA HR & MBA Finance are entirely different. It depends upon you to choose the course. MBA HR deals with management of manpower to the organization. He is concerned to formulate & implement the recruitment policy, leave policy, facilities provision to the employees & transfer & posting of the employees etc. If you are interested in more talking, reading the psychology of the people, you can choose this stream. Also you will have more sitting job in this section. If you have interest in mathematical work, you can choose finance for specialization. You can have jobs in sales, banking, Insurance etc. So decide according to your choice. Dual specialization is good, but in profession you should concentrate on only one thing either HR or Finance. Always try to be master of your subject so that you should become very professional. Now you select from either HR or Finance. According to me HR and FINANCE, as a dual specialization is good if you are an entrepreneur, because as an entrepreneur.
