Although, as there is no public rating or neutral ranking for distance learning or correspondence programs they both are placed equally but Symbiosis being an older Institute and being a part of Symbiosis Pune which is one of the best Management Institutes has a better standing in the job Market the Sikkim Manipal University.
However, I being a part of an education portal which believes in giving an unbiased opinion it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion on these Institutes so I would suugest you that while choosing an Institute few things which you should keep in mind are: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material,The infrastructure,The no. of classes provided in case it is a correspondence program, Whether there is faculty or online support or not, Last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts.
