The degree is of five and half years duration, including 1 year internship after passing 12th Science. Advisable is that you should do your MBA from a good Management Institute as you have an IT background an endorsement of an MBA from a reputed institute can give you a really bright future. However, if you want to go for a B-School like GEMS B School you should look at all the merits and demerits of such institutes and then make a decision.
Few of the things which you should take care of: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, The infrastructure, The faculty (their educational background), The placement, Last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute.

Its good that you have Chosen your MBA specialization in Retail management as I know that Retail as to really boom in India with bigger players like Walmart and Reliance Retail coming for recruitments and offering good packages.
Inorder to work with a Bank you need to have good Finance Skills and so your choice should include both of these.
I would still suggest that you should go for a course which makes you more industry prepared. For example I am a student at the Delhi Business School and Pursuing a MBA dual degree in Finance and Marketing. What i am experiencing is a very industry related course curriculum because of which i have got great summer placement with HSBC global. Likewise as a student you could learn Health care management as well as doing Finance courses which means a dual MBA. Top that up with a diploma in Entrepreneurship and business and you are ideally positioned in your career graph. Like wise at Delhi Business School you could pursue an MBA in Finance and Retail Management
I have also learnt courses at DBS on SAP/ERP which have been really helpful from the prespective of picking up a job in a bank

Hi, if you complete MCA course from PTU so qualification is the same for distance education as well as regular colleges, but the different is that you will get DEC certification on the PTU correspondence.
Mostly working class people joined correspondence course those who are not able to attend the collage, so if you are try for MCA course so syllabus is totally same for correspondence level but here you will not get so much of practical knowledge which you will get in regular mode.
If you have work experience so you can try for correspondence so you will get job experience also, but if you are fresher so i suggest you try for the regular courses.

Dear Dinesh. The MBA program which we run is a unique concept which is not seen everywhere. Here you have the chance to get double certified by Edexcel and also a UK University. The best part is that you also get a chance to choose which University you would like to move to depending upon your performance in the first part of the program.
The fee for the first part of the program which we run in PUNE Campus is Rs. 2,80,750. This is the fee for the first year of your studies. Upon completion of this program then you can choose the university in which you would like to progress into the second term of the MBA with your specialization. The fee for this part would vary according to your choice. However the fee will be between 2.5 Lakhs and 3.5 lakhs.

If you want to go for PG in Medicine from Australia then after completing your MBBS from India you can easily do masters in Australia. The various courses that you can look into are: Masters of Publec Health, Masters of Health Administration, Masters of Health Promotion, Masters of Sports and Exercise Sciences, Masters of Health Leadership and Management, etc. The are a lot of universities providing thses courses like Flinders University, Deakin University, University of Wollongong, Univeraity of Sydney, etc. Most of the universities ask for a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience for courses related to Public Health. Also all the candidates are required to write a Statement Of Purpose detailing on his overall profile and the reasons for enrolling in the particular course. The average expenses are around 10-11 lacs p.a. ( inclusive ofboth the cost of living and the tuition fees). An IELTS of overall 6.5 (with no bands less tha 6.0) is a mandatory requirement by Australian Visa High Commission.
