Hi Abhilash,
Requirements are different all over. You have to mention you grades and also which country. Your admissions will be basis your application packet which would include academic scores, recommendation letters etc. 12 backlogs is not good and how well you improved and how much you scored will matter.

If you have a commerce background then it will be beneficial for you. You can opt for MBA in finance as many B.Tech graduates who don't have any commerce background pursue MBA in finance and do well.
