The basic eligibility to join interior design course is to pass 12th in any stream. There is no age limit. Admission will be on the basis of the score in the institute’s entrance exam and interview thereafter.

While selecting the best institute, you need to check some of the important parameters such as recognition, year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc.

Jobs After Interior Design :
After the course, you can find work in :
-architectural firms with architects, builders,
-public works department,
-hotel and resort chains,
-hospitals,
-town planning bureau,
-regional and metropolitan development works,
-private consultancies,
-studios and theaters and exhibition organizers.
You can also set up your own business.

Salary :
Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, still, to give you a brief idea,
- A fresher can start to earn about Rs.8,000 to Rs.10,000 pm.
- With experience the salary may surge up to Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 75,000 per month.

It is always easy to pick the best college.But what is best for you is a tougher call? Let your decision begin by considering if it is going to be Govt Universities like Jamia OR Deemed Universities like Manipal University, Udupi or Nitte University, Mangalore or Symbiosis, Pune.
Deemed Universities are effective but expensive, but not all. For instance, Nitte is very cost-efficient and they also offer scholarships, Similarly, in Govt Universities placement activity is poor but again not in places like Jamia where placeents are good.
Next, it is usually tough to get into the popular universities. So it also depends on your percentage in B.Com.
Finally, since you are from B.Com it may be wise to consider a university like Nitte or Jamia where the curriculum is designed for those coming from other streams also. This can help you immensely.

Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, to give you a brief idea,
-Fresher in government hospital can start their earnings from Rs.15,000 per month.
-In private hospitals or other healthcare institutes, the salary ranges from Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000 per month.
-Senior cardiologists and surgeons earn more than Rs.40,000 per month.
-By working for a pharmaceutical companies in government and private research and development labs he/she can earn in the range of Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, that may also go to as high as a lakh per month.
-A reputed cardiac surgeon can earn about 1.5 lakh a day.
