You can opt any subject you want because for NIFT entrance you need GK, English, Maths (till class 10) and Logic Reasoning. So your class 11 & 12 stream won't matter.

It basically depends upon you category. If you are from general category and Delhi resident then a rank about 1 lakh will get you a branch at least in DTU. Moreover, you should qualify JEE Mains for branch of your choice.

There are various options are available for B.Com graduates.
If you want to go for further studies, then pursue M.Com or MBA.
But if you want to get a job, then you can also prepare for government job exams like SSC CGL, UPSC exams, banking exams, etc.

It doesn't matter about, which stream you are from, it's all about how much knowledge you have and how much hard work you do. Yes, BCA and MCA has a great scope. After completion of BCA not MCA, then you don't get a very good lucrative salary, but yes after completing MCA, and getting some year of experience, you will definitely get a handsome salary. And yes, college also matter, because some renowned college give up you an internship opportunity and a great placement offers.

No, you can't take economics, but you can take English in BA. You are not eligible for economics, because for that you must have math or economics at 10+2 level.
