Dear student, on the basis of your rank u won't get admission through rpet counselling but u may try through management quota.please read the following . The general procedure of getting admission is as follows: out of total seats we have 70% seats reserved for RPET,15% for JEE and 15% for management quota. 1)if u have a domicile of rajasthan then u have to appear in RPET exam and after clearing the exam u will get a particular rank. On the basis of your merit u can get admission in skit. 2) if u belong to some other state then u have to give the exam of JEE and according to the score of JEE u can apply in skit. 3) if your rank is not upto the mark n u have given any of the above mentioned exams(according to eligibility mentioned above) then u may seek admission through management seat. Hi Sapna, the best college just for PhD may not have subject of your interest. Here is some basic information that will be of help to you.
To pursue PhD you need to first prepare your research proposal and send it to the university. The research proposal must include a summary of the proposal and then the proposal in detail. You need to write the topic, reason for doing research, how the research will be beneficial to the community and the university, what is the different thing you are doing that hasn't been undertaken earlier. Also, include how you will progress during the research and the duration you might need to achieve the milestones you have set. If the university accepts your proposal you will be asked to send in your documents after which you will get the offer letter. Then meeting all the requirements you can begin with the visa process. To approach a University you must contact the dean or the professor at the University and ask them if there is any research going on. Because its always not mentioned on the University's website whether the research in your field of interest is going on or not.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (Full-Time) Programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelors Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows :-
Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
Sciences - 55%
Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00
OR
Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.
Note : Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelors / Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply.
2. There is no reservation whatsoever for the graduates of Delhi university or the residents of Delhi.
Selection Procedure
Applications for admission to various programmes are invited through advertisements in major national newspapers in September/October every year. Application forms are distributed to interested candidates on payment of the application fees. The filled-in application forms are to be sent to the Administrative Officer, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 for further processing.
