In most of the cases, the 1st-year is easy but afterwards, it completely depends on the branch as the 2nd year for CE is very easy as compared to other branches like EE, CHE, etc.

I personally believe that placement actually mean depends on your scorecard as it is the first thing that an employer gets to see about a candidate. As far as package is concerned it depends on the negotiating capability of the candidate at the time of the interview with the employer. So whatever you do just be focused because your scorecard will speak for you.

Normally, such brands don't take candidates without BHM degree but if you have exceptional abilities and skills, they may hire you at a very basic, entry level and then you can grow with your performances. To get that entry will not be easy. It will require lots of persuasions and chasing.

If you intend to pursue MBA out side Maharashtra, CAT is relevant. If the intention is to pursue MBA in institutes within Maharashtra, you can go for MAT. CAT is more widely accepted and is considered to be a degree tougher than MAT.

There is no much difference between CA (ICAI) and CMA (ICMAI). While pursuing CA, articleship of 3 years is compulsory. CMA offers jobs to gain work experience just after its level-2 exams I.e. CMA-Inter. However, any one can qualify all levels of CMA with minimum gap of one year.

Hi,
First of all, you should be well aware of the IAS syllabus which you can have at the UPSC portal. You have to daily read at least 2 or 3 newspapers one of which should be an English newspaper. You need to make a time table for your study. Regarding books, you can consult with NCERT (9th-12th) for basic knowledge and others can be viewed at UPSC portal.

There is a quota for NRI students. Application forms for admissions under this quota can be obtained from the Administrative Officer, SSN Trust, 211/95, V.M. Street, Mylapore, Chennai 600004.

The fee structure will be huge around 6-7 lakhs INR per annum or even more as it is a self financing college.
