Correspondence program mainly implies a philosophy of open entry and access to learning opportunities, where some study material is sent through post, it is completely a self study program where there is no faculty support it does not incorporate any kind of technology driven support to the students, whereas E - Learning is mostly associated with activities involving computers and interactive networks simultaneously. E-learning can work towards ensuring high quality education by quick and on time delivery of content to learners, enabling learners to learn at their own pace and time etc. Elearning programs some time even include the virtual classes.

As EPGDM is a post graduated diploma & MBA is a degree program preference is given to the degree program. However, EPGDM done from an excellent B - Schools would hold equal value in the job market. It also depends a lot on your performance in the program and how you use your skills at the time of interviews.
I would like to add here that if possible you should opt for a regular program as correspondence programs generally hold very little or it would not be an exaggeration if I say no value in the job Market. Also Executive programs are generally for those working professionals who have good 6-8 years of work experience.
