CSE is surely better than engineering in IT. You can also pursue B.Sc Honors in Computer Science from Delhi University or any other place, if you want to work in Computer codes background. Another good option is BCA course, it also provides good placements.

CSE is the best course. Try to appear for JEE Mains and score well in it to get this course in a reputed institute. Else you can opt for B.Sc or BCA.

Yes, you can do BCA as well as B.Sc after Diploma in IT. They will give you services too but why BCA. You are eligible for direct admission to B.Tech 2nd year provided that you have scored at least 60% in final year Diploma. Coming to your question, you can't directly take admission in 2nd year BCA. You have to take admission in 1st year. So, you better go for B.Tech / BE. You will get jobs also but it depends on you.

Hi Sruthi,
Your rank is fantastic and this makes you choose which college you want to be a part of. So, yes, you are totally eligible for Osmania University. Do appear for counselling and let's hope no one in the contenders list has a better rank than you and that's it, the seat should be yours. The counselling for 5 year LL.B. Programme 1-2893 rank is on October 23. So, finger's crossed. Wish you well.
