With a 4 years diploma in Shipbuilding engineering, you can look for the courses in institute which would offer Naval Architecture.
Very few institutes offer this course as in a B.E/ B.Tech Degree, like the following:
IIT Kharagpur,
IIT Chennai,
Kochi University of Science and Technology
College of Engineering, Andhra University.

Please find below the requirements for the masters in electrical engineering program at IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY:
1) GRE: Eligible score 1100+(recommended score 1250+)
2) TOEFL: Minimum score of 79.
3) Percentage in undergrad: Atleast 75% and above(If percentage is less than 75% but above 60, you are still eligible to apply, however, you would have to score very well in the GRE to compensate for your low percentage)

Getting a stipend is quite difficult as it is being offered rarely but then this would also depend on your institute's policies as well. You can look for scholarships in various institutes and can apply to avail the same on the basis of the eligibility.

GEMS B School is a really good institute for industry synergised MBA.
i m the student of the same institute.
the placement cell is working really fine.
people got placed in companies like google,IBM,Oracle.etc
with start sal around 15k to 25 k
