To be in ATC yo u would need :-Engineering Degree in Electronics / Tele Communication / Radio Engg. / Electrical with specialization in Electronics with Ist class (60%)
OR
-M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engg. as a special Subject
OR
-Equivalent with 1st Class
-Lower age limit is 21 years, while the upper age limit is 27 years.
The selection shall be made on the basis of aWritten test
-50% questions on subjects relating to educational qualifications prescribed
-50% on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, English etc.
- Voice test
-Personal Interview
-Medical fitness
The training is completed at Civil Aviation Training Colleges at Allahabad, UP or at Hyderabad, AP
At present it is a year-long training

Air traffic controllers manage aircraft through all aspects of their flight with the priority of safety, followed by other aspects such as ensuring arrivals and departures are on time.
They use highly sophisticated radar and radio communication equipment to communicate advice, information and instructions to pilots.
Air traffic controllers are well known for working in control towers at airports, but the majority actually work in area control centres. They are responsible for the en-route stage of the aircraft, using radar to track its exact position, keeping it safe in the airspace and providing the most efficient route.

Anushka, there are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. You can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D visualizations. You may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. You can get into production, whether live or animated. You can be a story writer who writes for live and animated screens or even roll the story into a video/ pc game. You can be a script writer who would stop at nothing to give wonderful scene setups to bring the story to life. You could be an artist who designs characters or who storyboards the film for live or animated performance. You can also double up as a voice over artist who gives his/ her voice to the characters or dub for movie stars, or even be a radio star. You can alternatively look at web for a web of careers in web design, online marketing, search engine optimization, content writing, social media promoting. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, VFX, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world and hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. Some people are passionate about acting - they must understand that acting cannot provide jobs since this is an assignment based industry and one must fit the role.
