IPS i.e. Indian Police Services is one of the premier services under the Indian Government and the admission to these services will take place on the basis of qualifying the UPSC exams.
The exam is carried out in two phases:
Preliminary and Main (with interview of selected students)
The preliminary phase consist of an aptitude test where in your general studies and current affair is observed and in the Main one needs to opt for a subject out of the options available and need to qualify the same and on the basis of qualifying this exam the selected students are called for the final selection round that are made through interviews.

Well as you have correctly mentioned by yourself that the placements are the deciding factor and the salary will range accordingly. There is no set minimum salary as this will depend from the company/ organization that hires him and the policies that are required to be adhered. However, getting a good hotel opportunity will get u a very lucrative starting salary but then the exact figures are best known to the companies and it is advised that your friend first applies to the hotels for the jobs followed by which one can gather these information with accuracy.

In order to take admission inMaster program in automobile from german university you should have- a recognised first degree (Bachelor of Science or Engineering), Candidates shouldhave also performed above average in their undergraduate studies, The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is also required, Candidates should have an IELTS certificate (score 6.0) or of the TOEFL certificate (score 550 paper-based / 213 computer-based / 80 internet-based). Most of the university accepts online applications however i would suggest you to kindly contact the concern university for the exact procedure.
