The most important thing which you should keep in mind is that while choosing a candidate the companies look at the over all personality of a candidate, which includes his/her educational background, performance on the program and how he uses the knowledge earned at the time of interview and afterwards. Although, you have not mentioned anything about your educational background, but depending on your own capabilities you definitely can get a job after a regular PGDM program even if you wouldnt have opted for MBA. But as you have already opted for an MBA there is no harm completing it and getting a degree.
I would like to add here that always keep in mind that the full time MBA program done through a decent University will always have an upper hand over a correspondence program.

For Govt. Organization any PG (MCA or MSc. IT) will be OK but for Industry concern If u want to make ur career in IT industry then apart from ur PG Degree some sort of International Certifications also required like RHCE, CCNA, MCSE, DBA, SCJP, RHCSS, CCNP and many more.
My suggestion is make urself prepare in such a way that u can be opt anywhere. Industry wants practically sound professionals and our degree provides theoretical based knowledge. Govt. Sector do prefer for Degree only. Now it is up to u what will be better for u. Just keep one thing in mind that TIME IS PRECIOUS. Collecting degree is not enough u must have practically sound also. First of all i would like tu suggest u that whatever u r doing do it thoroughly. Clear ur fundamental concepts. It should not be like that making second floor without any foundations. Industry requires Technically sound professionals not the theoretical persons. Instead of collecting degree take any International Certifications with u in less amount of time which helps u more. Lots of career lines are there in IT industry. System Admin, Network Admin, Security Admin, Database Admin, Software Developer, Web Developer and many more. Most of the Servers are running on Linux Servers. If u choose Linux platform as ur career option will be the futuristic approach. RHCE, RHCSS, RHCEV, JBOSS, LAMP, WAMP, XAMP CCNA, MCSE, JCP, OCP are some of the Leading Specialization areas where u can get some International kind of quality Certification. Don't u think that after getting Technically qualified Certification u will get high salaried technical JOB? Hi Megha, entry requirements would depend on the ocurse you want to opt for. Generally IELTS/TOEFL is required along with a good percentage in 10 and 12. And as far the scholarship goes it will depend on your marks again. The top universities in Singapore are National univ of Singapore, NTU, SIM University, Nanyang university and SMU. If you would like to know abt institutes then here are some like singapore polytecnic, nanyang polytechnic, republic polytechnic. And there are lots of British and Australian univ that have their campuses and a few institutes that offer Bristish and Australian degrees.
