Hello Saumya,
It is very interesting to hear from you that you are interested in doing your M.Tech after completion of the graduation. Yes, in majority of the cases hostel facilities are provided to girl students. But, these days the trend is for girls to hire a flat and live in sharing with likeminded friends. Fees vary from about Rs. 1Lacs to Rs. 2Lacs depending on the institution selected. Hostel fees too vary widely between government facilities and private ones.

It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your engineering in Aeronautical Engineering branch. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about different colleges offering this branch. You will have to appear for either JEE Advanced state entrance or entrance exam conducted by private colleges or deemed to be universities depending on where you are seeking admission. Eligibility criteria:
Pass in B.Sc Degree with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of all the optional subjects with any three of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Applied Botany, Applied Zoology, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Genetics. For M.Sc Courses, Graduate should have secured 40% marks in the aggregate of all subjects (including languages)
Admission procedure:
Admission to the course is decided by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, followed by personal interview.

Hello Reethu,Not all companies insist on some such criteria of your academic career, but yes some companies do insist on it just to be able to remove some students so that they have to interview less students! But it's normally not done. Majority of the companies which come for recruiting students during placement season lay emphasis on how the student has performed in his four years of engineering degree and they normally ignore how you had performed in the schooling days.
