Hello Aniket,
There is no such exact minimum score, scoring above which will get you a guaranteed seat in JBIMS. However, a score of 145-140 is considered safe. But this still completely depends upon the difficulty level of the examination.

Mechanical engineers research, design, develop, build, and test mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines. Mechanical engineers typically do the following:
1.) Analyze problems to see how mechanical and thermal devices might help solve a particular problem
2.) Design or redesign mechanical and thermal devices or subsystems, using analysis and computer-aided design.
3.) Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to recommend remedies.
4.) Develop and test prototypes of devices they design. Hope this helps.
