Hi,
Having a BEd degree is no longer enough to become a school teacher. Aspirants will now have to clear an eligibility test with at least 60% to be able to teach at any private or government school. The test will be conducted once a year, separately by State Govts and the Centre.
Eligibility Criteria: The minimum qualification for classes 1 to 5, Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or applying in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent). (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or aspiring in final 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El, Ed). The minimum qualification for classes 6 to 8, B.A/B.Sc with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in education (B.Ed). (OR) BA/B.Sc with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed (Special Education).
And further you can plan to pursue masters in one of your specialized subjects followed by PhD in order to further enhance your teaching career.

Vellore Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Exam 2012 will be conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology, as an entrance exam for students for taking admission to MCA course.
Important Dates (Tentative)
Issue of Application forms: By first week of May 2012
Last Date for submitting completed Application Forms at VIT : By last week of May 2012
Declaration of Result : By Mid June 2012
Date of Interview : By last week of June 2012
Eligibility:-
Applicants should be full time graduate with at least 60% marks for MCA program
Applicants should have studied mathematics in senior secondary level (12 standard)
Applicants should have done BCA/BSc(CS)/ Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics / Statistics or applicants should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in any one semester
Students who are appearing in their final year of qualifying exams can also apply for VIT MCA
2012 provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.
This means that there is no percentage requirement for class 10 & 12. However, they ask for bachelors degree from a recognized university with minimum aggregate of 3 years (graduation) to be 60% which you have. So you are eligible to sit for the exam.

I would request you not to get confused, well first of all I would say that both the institutes you mentioned are good institutes to pursue studies, both of these institutes has good teaching faculty, infrastructure and placements records.
Well if you wish to make your career in the field of HR only then you may go ahead with PGDM-HR,where as if you have inclination towards other specialization like marketing, finance, etc, in that case you may opt for PGDM-General where in you can opt for the specialization in the second year.
I would suggest you that before opting for any specialization you must first decide in which field you wish to build your career and accordingly you can select the best specialization as per your interest and liking.
As a student you should give your 100% in whichever specialization you opt for, and if you do well then getting a good job with handsome salary should not be a problem.
