You can surely take admission for BA English. The only condition is you should have cleared 12th. It does not make any difference whether you are from commerce or arts background.

Admission in BA courses of Delhi University takes place on the basis of cut-offs. Your 12th best of four needs to match with the cutoff released by DU and you will get your desired course and college.
