As far as the opportunities are considered, there is practically no difference when it comes to how the industry treats a PGDM or MBA graduate. If you consider 9 out of top 10 B schools in India, they offer PGDM and not MBA. Career growth is same in both and honestly speaking, at the level of Post graduate degree, growth opportunities are dependent upon individuals performance and not on whether it is a PGDM or MBA.
