Usually the minimum eligibility for admission to M.Sc is a candidate should have , B.Sc. in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Electronics / Computer Science or any other examination recognized as equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate and on the basis of merit of the candidates in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the Department. See in my n opinion less marks means that you are not very good in it. Choose something which you can do well, then only you can give your best and get good results. Best for you would be to check some good college sites like RV, LPU, PES etc and see the variety of courses offered that interest you.

You can get admission in DU as you have to calculate your marks from best of four(English compulsory). You might not get into first and second list but you can get your name in third and fourth list.
